Practical and cozy City Studio (Art 6)

Great price and comfortable for a few days visiting the city. For me, not ideal if you are travelling for work and reall Positive: Location is perfect to explore the city center and really straight forward to get from the airport. Very clean apartment. An effort was made with hand soap and hand sanitizer provided on arrival. Bed was very comfortable. Instructions for self check-in and -out are very simple to follow. For a turist visit for 1-2 days to see the city is perfect Negative: As I was travelling for work and staying for 6-nights wasn’t the most comfortable place. The kitchen is lacking some essentials like kettle or a small pan to heat up water or milk. The street below is very busy, quite common to be woken up in the middle of the night by the cars. As well there are only blinds on some windows (one window has no blind or curtain) and they don’t close completely so you get woken up by sun light but also lights from the cars easily shine through the whole apartment. You also have to be mindful for privacy as the flat is on a lower floor.

Excellent location, great value and wonderful host Positive: Our host Dimi was friendly, very helpful and always contactable. The room was very comfortable with excellent bed, fridge and Nespresso coffee machine. It was great to stretch out and have a dining table for eating and chatting. Wifi was very good and reliable. Laundry in the basement was great to do a quick wash and dry. Unfortunately, the previous tenants had not observed the non-smoking directive so the room did not smell very nice. Dimi very kindly arranged for a deeper clean on our first full day which improved things (as much as you can get cigarette smells out). A big thank you to Dimi for being so accommodating. Transport is easily accessible by the Kunsthaus tram stop 100m away. Local SPAR supermarket near the Tram stop and a 10 minute stroll to the lake and Aldi/Co-op. Highly recommended 10 stars because Dimi was so helpful (9 stars because of the smell!) Negative: Previous occupant smoking.
